About Second Look Inspections

Our Mission

At 2nd Look Inspections, our mission is to provide a thorough examination of the biggest investment you will likely make in your life.  Every buyer wants to know exactly what it is they are buying, and what issues may arise with it.  Alongside of the examination, our second mission is to educate the buyer as to how their investment functions and how they need to maintain it to make sure it runs efficiently. 

Our Team

Shawn built 2nd Look Inspections from the ground up to where it is today.  His wife Theresa is an equal partner in the business and supports Shawn with customers and management.  He has also built a strong support team that specializes in specific areas of home maintenance and repair that are exceptional at what they do.

At 2nd Look Inspections, we offer a wide range of home inspection services to meet the needs of our clients. We offer home, termite, radon, septic and water testing.

Getting to know Shawn

His background

Shawn was a middle school teacher many, mamy years ago.  After years of teaching, he decided his calling was in residential renovations.  He created his own general contracting business in 2007.  Then in 2013, he obtained his license to be an ASHI home inspectior.  He has over ten years of experience in home inspections, and over 20 years experience in residential renovations. 

His vision

The vision Shawn has as a home inspector is to exam and educate.  It is vital for each buyer to know what issues may be present with he home they are buying.  But it is also important for the buyer to understand how the home they are buying functions every day, and what they need to do to assure it continues to function that way. 

About Shawn

Shawn is married to an amazing woman named Theresa.  Shawn also has an adult daughter and son who are both working in the medical field. Shawn is still waiting for grandchildren.
